Custom Web Application Overview
The client required a comprehensive retirement planning tool to assist them in collecting information from potential clients. Excalibur Technology Corp. worked closely with the client to convert their requirements into a functional web application. This custom web solution allowed visitors to create and submit a retirement planning questionnaire that was used by the client to help deliver a customized retirement plan.
The custom web application allowed customers to register and create a new retirement planning application. Due to the length and detail of the questions involved, the application was developed with a “Save and Return” feature that allowed customers the ability to return and complete their application at their own pace.
Additional front-end features of the application include:
- A password / login recovery function for visitors who forgot their password
- A self-cleaning component that would remove incomplete retirement planning forms that visitors had not returned to complete
In order to protect the visitors personal information, the site was protected with a SSL Certificate as well as industry standard document encryption the protected the visitors data.

- Triple DES and RSA Encryption
